Wow. I was certainly hoping to produce something I could put in my portfolio, but I wasn't really expecting to actually take it quite to this level. This is probably the proudest I've been with a piece of artwork in a long, long time, and maybe a bit above and beyond what was expected for the class. It's for my computer art class (which is a beginning level class that's really geared towards people with little to no experience, but I needed some elective studio credit...) for which the assignment was a photorealistic self portrait done in Photoshop. I hate painting in Photoshop. It's hard D: But definitely worth the effort.

I'm not gonna lie--I sampled colors from my reference photograph hardcore. I don't pretend to be so good at rendering to be able to produce skin tones like those all on my own, but at least it's not a paintover 8D
