FINISHED

LAWD, I thought it would never end x__x

So I'm done now. Like... done. It was such a weird feeling to pull away from Collins (my dorm of almost 5 years) with my last carload of roomstuff and realize I'm never living there again. No more research papers. No more art history exams. No more 48 hour studio stints. This means a couple things:

1) I have more free time. Theoretically, I should be able to finish all my outstanding commissions within the month. Cole, KK, George, Travis, and Deek are the last of my devArt and non-devArt requests. Once I'm finished with those, I'm going to keep commissions closed till I figure out what to do next.

2) I still need to find a job. The one I really want in Florida hasn't fallen through YET, but it is beginning to look questionable. Therefore, time that I might've been spending on finishing the drawings I owe people now has to be spent on updating my portfolios, sending out resumes, and scheduling interviews. I'm going to try to balance the two, but getting a job is kind of on the important side, I'm going to have to start making student loan payments very soon. Feck.

So yeah, that's about where I stand right now. I don't even want to THINK about all the unpacking I have left to do, but that is so on the bottom of my to-do list. Drawrink is mo' better 8D

Never having to do homework again is one of the best feelings there is.

Jorbhunting (which I need to start again now), less so.
Such an exciting time in your life. I wish you the best. :)
gah, i wish i could spend my years studying art instead of this... but it amazes me that somebody like you have it hard to find a job!
Really... the world out there is that hard?
eww, lots of stressful junk. best of luck finding a great job!

Congrats and lots of luck for the job-hunting! :3/
Everyone always wants to see more of something. More design work, more environments/terrain, more whatever. It's not like I can just pull these things out of mid-air D: What's in my portfolio is what I've got, but apparently my talent in other areas isn't enough assurance for them.

Eh, could be worse. I get to live at home for free, my mom's health insurance covers me for another year, and there's a nice office I can go back to part-time if I need work while I look :>

Thanks!
